For us, a company becomes a partner if there is a commerical agreement to that affect and/or there is a good long-term mutually-benefical business alliances or affiliations between Transcom and the other company. Transcom's suite of products and services are sourced in-house or from external vendors. It makes sound commercial sense to seek out and connect with the best companies. Transcom has made a strategic decision to partner (as an authorised reseller) with the global market leaders in the manufacture, supply and support of high-quality and high-performance mobile enterprise technologies (hardware and software) and IT services. Our recent and current partners include:

Gilat

According to its own promotional material, Gilat designs, develops and markets innovative satellite products and services for interested parties. Gilate conduct its business through three business units. They are:

• Gilat Network Systems {GNS) provides satellite networks and professional services, including turnkey solutions and outsourcing, to operators worldwide.
• Spacenet Inc provides managed VSAT and hybrid network services for business, government and residential customers in North America.
• Spacenet Rural Communications provides rural Internet and telephony services primarily in Latin America.

Through its partnership with Gilat, Transcom is able to access its satellite services to meet its customer and client requirments.

HP

HP is a major global company that manufactures and supplies a large variety of computer-based devices. Depending on customer requirements, Transcom sources mobile devices e.g. PDA's, smart phones (with navigation, bluetooth) etc from HP that can be integrated into wireless mobile enterprise systems.

Motorola

Motorola is a global company that manufactures and supplies mobile devices. Depending on customer requirements, Transcom sources mobile devices e.g. PDA's, smart phones (with navigation, bluetooth) etc from Motorola that can be integrated into wireless mobile enterprise systems.

Penguin Blue

Penguin Blue is a mobile enterprise software development company that sells a booking and dispatch software package called “Rockhopper”. Transcom has over the past 6 years developed and implemented seamless wireless data integration into Rockhopper via our NC3000 Gateway that allows the end-to-end delivery of job dispatch data to a mobile PDA over GPRS or 3G. GPS data can also be returned to the gateway to be rendered onto our Locator Mapping Client to show live vehicle and personnel tracking.

We also have silent partnerships with a few other companies that are strategically important to our core business and therefore such partnerships remain confidential at this time.

Transcom is an approved technology partner of these companies. We take the best technology available from these companies, we integrate their components with our own technology and software systems to deliver a value-added best fit business solution on price, function and performance that can result in a clear market edge.
