The device has an integrated battery backup system to handle power outages; and has an anti-tamper and anti-theft detection features.
The standard Delay is two (2) seconds. The SITEwatch unit beeps while in the "Emergency" state to indicate that an Alert message has been sent.
The SMS message can be "redistributed" to multiple recipients to ensure that the correct people are informed of any situation that the SITEwatch unit is set up to report for. The GPRS message can go to a monitoring centre so that appropriate action can be taken. Events can also go the SECUREzone Web platform for 24/7 access and reporting.

MCG2000
MCG2000 Asset/Trailer Tracker – This device is a variant of the MCG3000 but has an inbuilt rechargeable 900ma/hr battery for self powered operation with a capacity of ~30 days over GPRS but can be recharged. The design is suitable for trucks, tractors and prime movers bobtailing with modern trailers that use ABS braking systems; thus requiring a 12/24volt power supply. This supply is then used to trickle charge the MCG2000. When the trailer is disconnected the MCG2000 is configured to report two positions each day over GPRS to SECUREzone; however it can be polled dynamically to find an asset. The device also has inbuilt security anti-tampering features. |

SECUREzone Web AVL & Telematics Bureau provides a range of optional add on services, which can be scaled up on top of the standard but “feature rich” AVL Web Service to provide an advanced level of functionality and reporting services to optimise fleet performance, these are:
Accident Reconstruction
The MCG device logs relevant vehicle data including location, speed, direction and harsh braking on a second by second basis. Post an accident, the MCG device is physically recovered from the vehicle and sent to SECUREwatch for a post mortem analysis and recovery of the accident log; a Google Earth report is generated for the customer. If after an accident, and if power is still available and the device is capable to transmit, an impact alert will also be sent directly to SECUREwatch web system or to an In-House Customer Central Monitoring Facility as a “high alert”.

Scheduled delivery plans are downloaded to the MCG. The MCG monitors the execution of the delivery plan and reports actions vs. planned. This feature has been designed to facilitate integration with 3rd party routing and optimisation platforms, providing the operators with real time delivery execution analysis. The data can be further utilised to dynamically resolve delivery problems and to further optimise future delivery schedules.

The MCG3000 units have a number of factory options that enhance the standard units. These options need to be specified when ordering:
Accelerometer
The Accelerometer is used to sense Impacts, Harsh braking, Excessive Acceleration and Sharp cornering. The threshhold values can be set to tailor the response for a particular vehicle.
On Impact it can trigger Accident Reconstruction

In Vehicle Networks
Interface to the standard J1939 specification for in vehicle networks (CANBus). The vehicle data provided includes revs (tacho), speed, odometer, trip distance, FMS brake & clutch.
Important Note; it is possible to derive alternate monitoring of some or most of these features without the need of CANBus using more simplified switch sensing or software programming. Ask SECUREwatch for details.

The MCG devices can be programmed to allow up to a maximum of x4 fixed numbers that a driver can call. The dialer kit has “Answer and hang up” buttons to control the call. This device “where it fits the purpose, can replace a mobile phone as an effective aid to reduce company telephone costs |
Driver iButton Key Tags
To be deployed for confirming the correct driver(s) to a vehicle. The MCG3000 will verify the driver ID, driver rating, i.e. licensed to use the vehicle with option to limit driver to a set fleet of vehicles. The verified driver ID enables ignition. As well live plots of vehicles will also denote which driver key is being used at that time.
The SECUREzone Configurator system is able to program remotely up to x30 approved drivers to MCG device associated with a vehicle to add, delete, include or exclude drivers using iButton access. This can be changed dynamically over the air direct to the MCG device when it is on. This is a highly secure process as it involves accessing the device; thus as policy it is done by our CSC or trusted Resellers by request from the customer. |
| |
Driver iButton Reader
The iButton reader is the mating component to the iButton tag and forms the communications interface to the MCG device. |
| |
Combined Stealth Antenna
SECUREwatch offers its combined GPRS/GMS/GPS AVL and telematics antenna, which is a high sensitivity and high performance device. The antenna is ideal for AVL and Telematics and can be deployed out of sight under a shelf or rear compartment near or on glass.
| |
MCG3000 Extra Cables
The MCG3000/C comes standard with a 16 way cable loom that is for Power, Inputs and Outputs. There two more cables which are optional. a 10 way and 14 way.
These two cables enable future access to advanced options e.g. iButtons, Temperature Sensors, CANBus and/or other telematic functions that currently do not form part of the standard AVL specification. |
